How much does FIOS cost?

It depends on speed tiers offered by Verizon:

  • 5 mbps downstream / 2 mbps upstream - $39.95
  • 10 mbps downstream/2 mbps upstream - $49.95
  • 15 mbps downstream/2 mbps upstream - $TBD
  • 20 mbps downstream / 5 mbps upstream - $TBD
  • 30 mbps downstream / 5 mbps upstream - $199.95 [$54.95 in specific areas]
  • 50 mbps downstream / 5 mbps upstream - TBD

    mbps = megabits per second

    There's a $5.00 discount if you're using Verizon's landline service.
    Presently [July 2006] -- installation for FiOS equipment is free, and this includes the installation of an D-Link router, as well.**


    ** Applies to those signed-up for an annual 12-month contract with Verizon. FiOS month-to-month deal require installation fee of: $69.00
